CICERONE PROGRAM RELEASES VER 5 SYLLABUS:
Check it out here. Unless you're testing AFTER August 1st, don't worry about this at all. If you will be tested on the version 5 syllabus, luckily the changes are quite minor. A Beer Scholar YouTube vid discussing all the changes is coming, subscribe here to be notified when it comes out. TBS study material will be updated as soon as possible to reflect the changes (but again, keep in mind the changes are minor).

Farm to Pint: Exploring the Life Cycle of Hops on YouTube by Yakima Chief Hops. Wow, I've never seen this hop farming work in action. It's bonkers. Here in the Pacific Northwest of the US, it's time to get the hops in the ground so some of this stuff is happening right now! 

IS THIS THE NEXT BIG HOP ON THE MARKET?
VistaHops.com - Yes, and it's called Vista. You're going to see Vista Hazy IPA releases all over the place for a few years. It's the most recent USDA hop to be publicly released (yay for Federal spending on science that benefits the public...good hops, the internet...amirite?). Vista  is said to have aromas of honeydew melon, papaya, & white peach. Sounds great! There will be major Vista scarcity for awhile as this is the first season it's being grown in large quantity. Be on the look out!

Fantastic Fungi is a documentary about mushrooms that's currently available on Netflix. It is hella trippy! I mean, I knew mushrooms were cool and tasty, but they're so much weirder anymore impressive than I realized. Don't miss this one. 

DOPE AF CAPS I ROCK
I wear a cap most of the time because I'm bald and it gets cold. There I said it. But I also really love a good hat, so it all works out. If you do, too, hit up these producers -- Ebbets Field Flannels & Minor League Baseball. Personally, I don't care about sports, I just look for unique & high quality hats with dope graphics. If you know a source for quality hats (beer hats?), please let me know!
