BLIND TASTING ADVICE:
First Sample Bias and How to Stop It by the DraughtLab Team. After your palate has a period of rest, you experience flavor more intensely. This is called First Sample Bias and it can skew results in beer judging, blind tastings, and for brewery sensory panels. One simple fix - use an initial "calibration" beer sample to warm up your palate.

CZECH BEER GLASSWARE TO KNOW:
The Dynamic Czech Beer Glass Culture by Kevin Kain for Casket Beer. I've recently heard murmurings about people hunting for vintage Czech glassware online. I had no idea that was a thing until recently. Thanks to this piece, I now know the familiar Czech mug is called a Tübinger! They pair perfectly with side pull Lukr faucets ;) 

SHOW I'M DIGGING:
Raised by Wolves on HBO Max. Ridley Scott is involved as an EP and the Ragnar Lothbrok dude from Vikings is a main character. It's about wo androids, Father and Mother, raising human children on Kepler-22b after the Earth was destroyed by a massive religious war. I'm only halfway through the first season, but a second just came out. So far, IT IS AWESOME and as a sci fi geek I'm shocked to just be discovering it! Here's the trailer.
